Admission Terms & Conditions
Version: SSA-2026-09-09-v1
Please read these terms before submitting your application to Sekhon Salon Academy. Ask us to explain anything you do not understand before accepting. Your application is a request for admission; your place is confirmed after the academy verifies your details and agrees your course and fee plan with you.
Course details & admission
Give correct contact, age and education details, and provide the documents requested for your course. Before enrolment or payment, the academy will confirm your branch, course content, duration, batch, completion requirements and fee plan in writing. Students under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian review and accept these terms and complete the academy’s guardian verification before admission is confirmed.
Fees, instalments & receipts
Pay the agreed total fee and each instalment by the dates in your written fee plan. The plan must state any registration, kit, product, uniform, examination or certificate charges and whether they are included. Pay only through an academy-authorised payment method and obtain a receipt showing the amount and payment date. Keep your receipts and report a missing payment entry promptly so the academy can reconcile your record. An online application itself does not require a payment.
Pending fees & changes to your fee plan
If you expect difficulty paying on time, contact the academy before the due date to discuss a revised plan. There are no automatic late fees under these terms; any lawful additional charge must be explained and agreed in writing in advance. The academy must not increase an already agreed course fee without your consent. Any pause in training for an overdue payment requires prior written notice and a reasonable opportunity to resolve the balance.
Cancellation, withdrawal & refunds
Send cancellation, withdrawal or transfer requests in writing to the academy office or its official contact number and keep a copy. Before taking payment, the academy must explain any applicable cancellation deadlines and refund calculation in writing. There is no blanket ‘no refund’ rule: any proposed deduction must be lawful, reasonable and explained, with an itemised calculation and a stated refund date. If the academy cancels a course or cannot provide the agreed training, it will offer a suitable alternative for you to accept or a refund for training not provided. Applicable legal rights remain unaffected.
Attendance, leave & batch schedules
Attend on time, follow the agreed timetable and inform your trainer about absence or leave as early as possible. Attendance and practical completion requirements must be explained before enrolment. Missed classes, make-up sessions, batch transfers and course breaks should be discussed with the academy; availability and any agreed charges must be confirmed in writing. The academy will give reasonable notice of schedule changes and explain arrangements for interrupted teaching.
Respectful conduct & academy property
Treat students, trainers, staff and clients respectfully. Harassment, discrimination, bullying, violence, theft and attending under the influence of alcohol or drugs are not permitted. Follow the academy’s communicated dress and classroom rules, keep phones from disrupting training and care for tools and equipment. Report damage or loss promptly. Except where immediate safety requires action, a disciplinary concern will be explained and you will have an opportunity to respond before a decision is made. Any recovery for damage must be supported by facts and reasonable actual costs.
Hygiene, safety & practical work
Keep your workstation, tools and hands clean and follow the trainer’s product, hygiene and protective-equipment instructions. Use chemicals, heat tools and equipment only after instruction and with the supervision required for your training. Do not perform a service on another person without permission and appropriate supervision. Tell your trainer privately about any allergy or condition relevant to a practical task, and report an injury or unsafe situation immediately. Following these rules does not remove the academy’s responsibility to provide safe training.
Assessment, diploma & career support
Complete the attendance, assignments, practical work and assessments agreed for your course. Certificate or diploma eligibility and any related charges will be explained before enrolment; submitting this form alone does not qualify you for a diploma. The academy will accurately describe the issuer and recognition of any qualification. Training or career guidance does not guarantee a job, earnings, a visa or professional recognition unless a specific commitment is separately made in writing.
Student records, photographs & privacy
The academy uses admission, payment, attendance and qualification records to administer your course and respond to your requests. Your acceptance name, role, date and a copy of these terms are saved with your admission. Contact the academy to request a correction or ask about your record. Permission to use your photo, video or testimonial for public marketing must be requested separately and is optional. Do not photograph or share another student’s or client’s personal information without their permission.
Questions, complaints & policy updates
For explanations, payment discrepancies or complaints, contact Sekhon Salon Academy, Ashok Colony, Puranpur 262122, on +91 9012380446 or +91 9532210018. The academy will review concerns fairly and explain its response. Keep your application, fee plan and receipts. Material changes to accepted fees or obligations require fresh agreement; updates do not silently replace the terms you accepted. These terms do not take away rights available under applicable law.
